Milal is an international and specialled disability mission body which begun in 1979 in Korea. Milal Australia was established in 2007. The UN declaration of the human rights for the people with disability refers to people with disability as, whether congenital or postnatal nature, people who are not able to perfectly or partially meet their own need for physical and mental capacity. Our Purpose Evangelism, Service, Education, and our Vision is supporting disability care through multicultural disability missions.
The founding fathers of this organisation envision the world as one family “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. This vision is to spread the message of inter-dependence of human societies, nature and her environment – “Harmony with the Creation”. Our objectives To promote activities of culture, community arts, community languages, heritage, civilization, education, aid and relief to the needy, or any other activity in the advancement of general public benefits including social, cultural and scientific research.
Club Weld is a supported music studio for people on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities. Established in 2014, the mobile studio currently operates in Parramatta and Penrith. The Club offers a chance for participants to write, play and record new music alongside professional musicians. Club Weld has released three acclaimed compilation CDs and embarked on successful collaborations with video artists. The music and videos have been featured as part of the 2017 NOW now Festival, ABC's iconic rage program and prominent arts and culture website Noisey. www.clubweld.org.au
